The Bolivar Peninsula lost a vibrant light last May with the passing of Patty Hagstrom, a beloved, award-winning artist whose work captured the unique soul of our coastal community. While Patty is no longer with us, her colorful spirit continues to brighten the walls of countless homes across the Peninsula.
In a beautiful tribute to her life and passion, Patty’s family has generously released a selection of her original pieces to be sold during this year’s Texas Crab Festival. This is more than just an art sale—it is an investment in the next generation of Bolivar creators.
100% of the proceeds from these sales will go directly toward a dedicated Art Scholarship for a deserving Bolivar student. By bringing a piece of Patty’s work into your home, you are helping to ensure that her creative legacy lives on through the dreams of a young local artist.
We invite you to experience “The Hagstrom Collection” firsthand. Stop by the booth located inside the Big Tent to browse her stunning collection and take home a true piece of Bolivar’s heart. Help us turn Patty’s artistic vision into a bright future for our community’s students.
The Texas Crab Festival is a one-of-a-kind celebration of coastal culture, delicious seafood, and family-friendly fun! May 7-9, 2026 at Swedes Park in Crystal Beach, Texas.
