The annual Bolivar Peninsula Golf Cart Poker Run isn’t just about cruising the coast and raising funds; it’s also a showcase for the young artists in our community. The Annual Kids Art Contest gives local students a chance to show off their talents.
The contest was open to 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th-grade students attending High Island and Crenshaw Elementary schools. Over 40 entries were turned in, relevant to the theme of the Poker Run, blending golf carts, beach life, and community fun.
While every single entry deserved applause, a panel of judges selected 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
The winning masterpieces will be displayed at the Poker Run, giving the community a chance to admire the imagination and artistry of these kids.
