Local Flavor: Stingaree Unveils New Seafood Market

There is a new addition to the Bolivar Peninsula culinary scene, and it is officially open for business! On Friday, dozens of local residents and visitors gathered together to celebrate the grand opening and ribbon-cutting of the brand-new seafood market at Stingaree.

Conveniently located right next to the bait camp, this new market is a seafood lover’s dream come true. Whether you are stocking up for a backyard grill-out, prepping a family dinner, or looking for the absolute freshest ingredients after a day on the water, the market has you covered.

The new setup brings a variety of high-quality options right to the heart of Crystal Beach:

  • Fresh Catch: A wide, rotating selection of fresh fish and local seafood.
  • Courville’s Specialty Meats: Alongside the coastal bounty, the market is stocking a premium variety of favorites from Courville’s—perfect for throwing together a classic surf-and-turf.

The new space looks incredible, organized, and ready to serve the peninsula. A thank you goes out to Brad and Kacey Vratis for their continued investment in our community and for giving locals and visitors alike another reason to love spending time at Stingaree.

Stop by, check out the impressive new setup, and pick up a fresh catch for dinner!
