About three more weeks until Show Time! We’re getting excited over here. It won’t be long, our 41st anniversary of the Texas Crab Festival.
Many of you know about our annual festival, which used to be Mother’s Day Weekend, we decided this year to have a 3-day festival again, but this year, it will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Y’all can stay at home with Mom on Mother’s day or take her to some other special place for Mother’s Day. We’re going to give it a try anyway. Please feel free to let me know what you think.
I’ve been involved with the vendors for several years now, my favorite thing to do. Mainly because I feel like I know them so well. They’re like family! I always wait until January to send out my applications, initially to all those who participated last year. So, here we are at April, and I’ve heard back from the majority. A Yay or a Ney. I’ll greatly miss the Ney’s, but they all have a very touching or legitimate reason. When that happens, we begin accepting new vendors. I’m looking forward to meeting them and perhaps they’ll become part of our growing family.
I hope you’ll come out to see us. We’ll be there at the Swede’s Park Festival grounds beginning May 7, Thursday, through May 9, Saturday at 10 PM.
Not to brag, by our vendors are awesome, they’re the Cream of the Crop. Have fun shopping!
Don’t forget to visit the Silent Auction, it’s over by the T-Shirt booth under the skybox – The Silent Auction will end on Saturday night at 8:30 PM.
