Whether it feels like it or not, fall is just around the corner and what better way to celebrate than to come out to the Bolivar Peninsula Cultural Foundation’s annual Fall Arts & Crafts Fair at Swedes Pavilion 1605 Hwy-87, this Saturday the 19th, from 10 – 3.
With over 45 vendor spots filled with hundreds of different items to choose from, food from the Eagles, sweets and drinks available from several vendors, live entertainment by The Girl Band and lots of great raffle and silent auction items, why not come on out and support our local vendors.
Get there at opening time at 10:00 AM to receive your complementary drink ticket (if you’re over 21) at the front desk and purchase your 50/50 raffle tickets or your raffle tickets for our one of a kind items and also put in your bids for our great silent auction items donated by our vendors. Then you can start your shopping under the pavilion with 26 different booths, continue out on the lawn with 21 more vendors, come on up to the stage area at 11:30 AM for a special presentation from the Bolivar Peninsula Cultural Foundation to High Island High School, enjoy The Girl Band from 12 – 2 PM, shop a little more and finally, don’t forget to get your raffle tickets and bid on a great silent auction item at the front entrance if you didn’t do it already.
Silent auction closes at 2:30 PM and raffles end at 3:00 PM. All winners will be contacted shortly after the fair ends at 3:00 PM and we will make every effort to have your items to you by that evening. Many vendors are equipped to take your cards for payment but as always at this type of event, cash is king. The Cultural Foundation can accept cash, local checks, Venmo, Zelle and Cash App. We hope to see you there to bring in fall with a bang and we greatly appreciate your support of our annual art fair and all the vendors involved.
