In his desperation, Bolivar attempted to board a ferry to Galveston Island but was turned away. Undeterred, he bravely tried to swim across the ship channel, accompanied by a dolphin.
It was during this courageous endeavor that he was discovered and rescued by a compassionate boater, who welcomed him aboard and ultimately provided him with a loving home.
Today, Bolivar is a cherished companion who delights in playing with his Bark Box Lighthouse throw toy and enjoys Denti Stix treats that help keep his teeth clean. His favorite moments are spent resting his head on his owner’s chest, gazing up with gratitude—a silent “thank you” for the love and second chance he’s been given.
