Yep, The Littles turned 9 years old yesterday, on Easter! What a wonderful pair of boys. Twins, but you’d never know it. They are as different as day and night. Fisher asked for a Ripstick, Riggs asked for a cross necklace. Now, how different could that be. They had a swimming party on Friday at the house. I just happened to be in the neighborhood delivering stuff to either Friendswood house. The street and their driveway was non-passable with the number of kids showing up for the party. Camber, their Mom, said it only took her three days to plan the party and invite all the guests. I’m not surprised, she’s incredible.

We were invited over to the house for Easter dinner, which was out of this world! Jordan and Anthony and their two, Jack Jack (5) and Margo (3) joined us. What a lively crowd! We ended the afternoon with a cookie cake made and decorated by the boys and a store-bought cake. Daddy put a #9 on each one so each boy could blow out their own candle. We grabbed a slice of cookie cake for the road and began our trip home to relieve Aunt Norie, our Merry Sitter.
Norie arrived shortly before we needed to leave to catch the ferry. She wasn’t there 2 minutes before Merry had scratched Norie’s legs and drew blood on one of her hands. I swear, that little girl could use some manners. We’re trying! Thank goodness, I had just bought 100 band aids and we had some large ones out on the kitchen counter for emergencies.
Needless to say, Merry was happy to see us and as a result, so feisty, I almost cried. It’s all good, we’ll get a handle on this thing, I mean Puppy!
I had Mindi and Angela over to work on the garden the other day. They got it cleaned up very quickly. Then, I planted more caladiums. Here’s a pic of the Easter Lilies, they’ll be blooming before we know it. The Amarylis has bloomed.

I’ve planted lots of tomatoes, peppers, okra & cucumbers. We should be getting the shade covers this week to protect all those veggies.
Hope you’ve all planted something, Good Friday was the day for planting. Or, so my Granny used to tell me.
