Too Much Fun!

This past weekend, our Tampa son-in-law came to town to see their new house. Purchased sight unseen, approved by Kelly’s sister. Leigh breathed a sigh of relief. They LOVE IT! PawPaw picked up Michael from the airport early Friday morning and they went to work on the house. Hanging all the curtain rods and towel racks Kelly had marked for them the weekend before. Shelves in the laundry room, stove and dishwasher removed, ready for new ones.

I went over to deliver Whataburger for lunch and then I finished all my shopping, I returned home. Oh my goodness, I love that area! I found the Home Goods over on Pearland Parkway, I could’ve spent hours in there, but I needed to get lunch before it was too late.

PawPaw came home Saturday evening, Michael caught an uber to the airport for his 5:30 am flight home. We made it to mass on Sunday for a change. We’ve missed the last few weekends, so it was time to get back in the swing of things. Breakfast at Bambu Mexican Grill on 23rd, then the Farmer’s Market over on 33rd. We managed to kill enough time to get back down to Post Office for the Artoberfest. This year, our very own Patty Hagstrom was the honoree.

As you all know, Patty passed away Saturday of the Crab Festival May 2024. We’ll be honoring Patty at the Crab Festival in May 2025. We’ll have a Patty Hagstrom booth, and we’ll be selling her art donated to us by Patty, proceeds will go to Crab Festival Charities.

Our very own Ross Delagarza was the first booth upon arriving at the Artoberfest. It’s so good to see Ross, Primordial Persuasions. Ran into Monica and David, The Glass Tattoo, and Jeanie Hix, more vendors of ours. We met more exquisite vendors who we’ve invited to the Crab Festival in May.

I hope you are all ready for some Halloween fun and games. We’ll see you at Trunk or Treat at The Big Store this Saturday night, October 25th. EMS will host their first annual Boo Fest and Haunted House on Halloween night, Friday, October 31st, at the Crystal Beach Fire Station.

Come on over, Don’t be Scared!
