Sunday Funday

Yet another day I look forward to all year – Super Bowl LX! I’d already picked who I think will win – House Divided! It’s not an educated guess, nor is it to just be contrary and opposite. Heck, I didn’t know who He (the other half of this House) would be for, I just picked The Patriots. I think it’s because I liked the Baby-faced quarterback, Drake Maye. Still do…

I began watching with enthusiasm, so much so, that when there was a commercial, I got up to get something in the kitchen. Then, I realized why I was so intent to watch this game. Duh, it’s for the commercials! My husband announced, “here’s the first one,” and I was drawn back to the TV. I grabbed my notepad and pen and didn’t budge until the end of the game.

What a beautiful setting in the Bay area, the Golden Gate, familiar surroundings – been there!

Sofia Vergara pitching her tennis shoes out the window and sliding into her Slip On Skechers – definitely caught my eye, I’m quite the fan of Slip On Skechers, have a couple pair myself.

Boys to Men for T-Mobile, I hope you were watching Leigh!

The Ultra commercial with Kurt Russell, what a hunk! Bought the last round of beer, we know because he left his black cowboy hat on the bar, skiing off into the sunset kicking the right ski, then the left, reminded me of him in the Christmas Chronicles.

All the celebrities, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Sam Elliott’s voice. Then, Jennifer Anniston in Goodwill Hunting spoof and Dunkin Donuts “How do like those Nuts?” Ben Spiller trying to outdo his “brother” doing flips for Dad – Instacart.

Hey, I almost forgot about the game, by the time we made it to half time, The Seatle Seahawks had scored 3 field goals, the score was 9 to 0.

Loved Woody for Levis and Matthew McConaughey with Bradley Cooper and “the juicer.”

There were some serious ones like Antisemitism, and what about keeping hydrated – peeing often, Tight end relaxing urging you guys to be prostrate tested, Lost Dogs. This one brought some tears – You are Special – shouting out loud, “Hey, there’s Michael Strahan!”

Half time: What an entertainer and what a production! Bad Bunny’s tribute to Puerto Rico, wish I knew Puerto Rican! The whole performance was spellbinding!

Seatle scored another field goal 12-0, and in the 4th, Seatle finally scored a TD 19-0. NE made a TD in the 4th.

Oh wait, Neil Diamond’s Hellman commercial, Sweet Sandwich Time – one of the best!

Seatle scored another field goal 22-7 with 5:35 left in the 4th. Another TD –  Seattle 29-7. Less than 2:21 left, Patriots scored 29-13.

Kenneth Walker III (Seahawks) was the star of the show, he was HOT!

My score on commercials: The Polar Bears and Pepsi (Love) was runner up to the Clydesdales for Budweiser and Free Bird. The star of that entry was a Tennessee eagle named Lincoln, 28 years young!

Bravo Budweiser, you did it again!
