Crystal Beach kicked off the holiday season in festive style on Saturday with the annual Chamber of Commerce Crystaland Parade. Santa and Mrs. Claus led the way, starting at the fire station and cruising down Crystal Beach Road to the shoreline, delighting parade watchers along the route. Following Santa’s sleigh were an array of decorated floats, vehicles, and golf carts, each twinkling with holiday lights and bursting with cheer. Paradegoers lined the beach on a cool and breezy night, some warming up by campfires as they enjoyed the holiday spectacle. Floats and vehicles tossed candy to the excited crowd, adding to the festive fun.
When the parade circled back, Santa and Mrs. Claus greeted children of all ages, spreading holiday joy. The Crenshaw School youth choir filled the air with popular Christmas carols, while the Lighthouse Krewe served hot dogs and refreshments to keep spirits bright.
To cap off the evening, Big Daddy Larry announced the winners of the parade competition and the highly anticipated home and business lighting contests. The Crystaland Parade remains a beloved tradition, bringing the community together for a night of holiday magic.
