Megan Swain is a winner in more ways than one. Megan graduated with honors from Galveston College as a Licensed Paramedic, spent several years as a firefighter and served on Galveston County Fire Fighters Association Board. She is owner and licensed personal trainer at Crystal Beach Sweat Fitness. Coaching daughter in myriad sports is one of her greatest pleasures.
Megan recently won 4 first place medals in competitions to secure first place in the 2025 Texas State Body Building Competition. One of these was the Hero’s Division because she was a firefighter/paramedic. She brought home two trophies. One from the Heroes’ Division, and the other from Overall in all Novice Divisions. Her family, friends and coworkers were very proud of her accomplishments that took time, sacrifice, special diets and intense workouts. Mrs. Swain trained 5-6 days a week for a whole year. She NEVER missed a workout. Although she suffered a leg injury that required surgery during her first month of training, Megan stayed on her strict diet and continued exercises while resting her leg. Her faith in God, and her commitment to her craft, made her a 4 time winner.
Marcel and I are having trouble with balance. We decided to give training a try. We signed up for 5 sessions with Mrs. Swain. We can add another win to her athletic abilities. She is a great teacher. Leading we two oldies through various exercises to build strength in our legs and arms was a challenging assignment. Her help, explanations, encouragement and compliments kept us going. We have signed up to see if we have a little of Megan’s steadfast attitude to continue exercising.
Fire Fighter, Paramedic, Personal Trainer, Coach, Wife, Mother and Teacher! Megan Swain is tops in so many categories that she truly is a MULTI-WINNER!
