Salty Mermaid did it again. Their third style show, hosted by Fraternal Order of Eagles 3719 (FOE), lifted this talented event to an even higher level. A sold out spring presentation on April 16, 2025 insured that there will be more. Karen, Sandy and Taylor created an atmosphere of welcome. Former Eagles’ President Jim Denys welcomed attendees. Many had already tasted the delicious delicacies provided by Mary Denys and Karen Jewell. Salty Mermaid owner, beautiful Shauna Kay William, greeted guests and presented a check from the fall show to the Eagles.
Then it was time for the fashionable Salty Mermaid Style Show. Dede Ballard and Tammie Hernandez had everyone in place. Talented announcer Bob Hibbard stood ready to begin as 2 Broke Chicks provided crowd pleasing music for the models. And here they came: Wendy Dozier, Perry English, Linda C Elissalde, Sabrina Flowers followed by Copper, Sabrina’s daughter, Marsha Fredenberg, Paige Labrier, Cathy Moore, Renee Montalvo, Karen Roberts, Susan Ramsey, Sue Simons, Roz, Elinor Tinsley, Amanda Whittington and Michelle Wilson. However, this year’s production had some surprise models who almost stole the show. Gentlemen Jim Denys, Eric, G. Scott Wright and Sheriff Jimmy Fuller garnered whistles and applause. All participants put on quite a show!
After a photo shoot of all the models, Sheriff Fuller passed his hat to receive a donation of over $1500 for FOE Eagles’ charities. Then prizes for 15 lucky ticket holders were announced. Guests enjoyed more of Eagles’ fantastic buffet. Everyone received a special gift bag as they left.
Salty Mermaid is at a new location with more enticing fashions. If you missed spring’s grand event, there will be another in the fall. With so many new additions, and surprises, the 2025 show was absolutely FANTASTIC! FASHIONABLE! and FUN!
