February is the shortest month in the year, but it contains many special days. One of those special days happens to be February 6. That is Elinor Tinsley’s birthday. Amy Lail, manager extraordinaire of birthday parties, planned a celebratory gathering for Elinor at LaPlayita Restaurant.
Elinor is involved in many charitable events. Being leader of the Lazy Ladies summer water aerobics and winter work out sessions are two of her volunteer activities. So it was indeed pleasant to be able to attend a birthday party in Elinor’s honor. Husband Pat, also a generous volunteer, joined in the festivities.
LaPlayita servers and cooks did a fantastic job with the orders. Amy Lail delivered a blessing. Everyone raved about their choices of food and even shared a taste or two with others. Then came those famous Rita Moseley birthday cakes. Yes, you heard correctly, cakes. Rita never makes just one for unique occasions. Guests wanted slices from both delicacies. Boxes were passed around for portions to be taken home and shared with relatives. Did all arrive at their destinations????
Elinor is a beautiful lady who is loved by family and friends. It was a fitting finale to a joyful luncheon for her to open gifts. She graciously thanked everyone for her presents and her party. Attendees felt grateful to be a part of ELINOR TINSLEY’S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!
