Elfie

Please tell me about your Elfie. Ours went back to the North Pole last Christmas and this year; he has a new family. He was a mischievous little tyke, we never knew where we’d find him in the morning. One time, our Littles visited before Christmas and Elfie, they called him Leon, appeared in our tree the first morning they were here. The next morning, he was hanging from the lamp over the table. Somehow, when The Littles went back home, Leon was there on the mantle at their house.

Speaking of The Littles, we went over to their house Sunday afternoon for lunch and a good ol’ get together. Matthew cooked burgers and dogs on the grill and Camber had all the fixins ready, not to mention a cheese spread, dips and chips and crackers.

Our Tampa gang was there as well, six of our grands. By the way, that’s almost all of them. Our other two grandsons, Eli with Chyna and Grant, were in Tulsa and Littleton, Colorado, respectively.

We let the cousins open their presents from their aunts, uncles and grands. A fun time for all!

The Tampa kids will be moving back to Friendswood in the summer, so Aunt Camber and Uncle Matthew stocked them up with gift cards to all the local establishments. Then, The Littles took their cousins on a bike ride to show them the route from their house to the new house.

I’m not sure if you’ve heard, but we, me and PawPaw, should be getting our new puppy shortly after the first of the year. Below is a picture of one of my presents – her new bed, Merry is her name, Merry Grace – embroidery compliments of Camber.

No, we’re not too excited – NOT!

I guess I won’t be talking with you until after Christmas, so y’all have a very “Merry” Christmas, be good and remember the true meaning of Christmas. A celebration of the birth of Jesus, our savior.
