Bolivar Peninsula Charities is proud to announce the success of its annual Christmas Bike Drive, a cherished tradition that brings holiday cheer to children across the Peninsula. This year marks one of our largest efforts yet, as we will distribute more than 76 brand-new bikes, trikes, scooters, and helmets to local families.
This initiative would not be possible without the generosity of our sponsors and community partners. We extend heartfelt gratitude to Entergy, whose $5,000 donation made a tremendous impact on this year’s drive. We also thank the Eagles for providing storage and distribution support, and Chester Jourdan for his continued dedication to organizing and coordinating this event year after year.
A special thanks goes to Academy Sports in Galveston, whose team worked tirelessly to prepare the bikes and provided generous discounts that helped stretch our resources further. Their commitment ensured that even more children will experience the joy of receiving a brand-new bike this Christmas.
