President Beth Terminella highlighted that all current efforts are focused on shaping the peninsula’s future. A major achievement was the establishment of Bolivar Peninsula Vision, which evolved from an idea into a fully operational 501(c)(3) organization. Its mission is to build the long-term prosperity of the peninsula by guiding long-term development, affordable housing, education, coastal resilience, and economic growth, demonstrating the Chamber’s commitment to the area’s sustained success.

A key internal focus was establishing a clear, goal-driven Strategic Plan for the Chamber itself, moving away from past practices. This led to the creation of a Strategic Planning Committee that provides a long-term roadmap to ensure the board operates with clear accountability and direction. Furthermore, the Chamber saw impressive results in membership growth, record-breaking event participation and fundraising, and expanded partnerships. Notably, the Chamber has secured dedicated advisory seats for the County Commissioner and Sheriff at its board meetings, strengthening collaboration with local officials to collectively advance the peninsula.

Terminella, who is stepping down as President, concluded by expressing pride in emphasizing a strengthened Board of Directors foundation, elevated visibility, and expanded partnerships that will benefit the Chamber and the peninsula for years to come. The year’s efforts have successfully laid the foundation for the next chapter of the peninsula’s success, preparing it for the future it deserves.

Members voted to elect new board members for the upcoming term. The newly elected board members are Tobi Foreman, Mike Gilbert, Bryan King, Casey Smith, Rusty Wilson, and Landon Wright. Following the election process, the board selected its officers for the 2025-2026 term. The new officers are Colt Thomas as President, Tyler Coco as Vice President, Casey Smith as Secretary, and Beth Terminella as Treasurer.
