Mark Bell from Conroe, Texas, and his wife Karen made their first trip to the Texas Crab Festival this year, and what a memorable one it turned out to be. As property owners in Crystal Beach, they decided to visit the festival on Saturday to enjoy the food, music, and wide variety of local vendors.
While exploring the grounds, Mark decided to buy two raffle tickets for the golf cart giveaway. Karen wasn’t convinced it was a wise investment, playfully reminding him that he never wins anything.
The couple returned home to Conroe on Sunday, thinking their weekend of fun was behind them—until they received a phone call shortly after arriving home. Mark had won the golf cart.
They had been hoping to get one for their trips to the beach, and thanks to the Texas Crab Festival, that wish is now a reality. This first visit turned out to be unforgettable—and a whole lot more mobile!
