Happy 2026 to all. Hopefully, everyone has gotten over all the flu and croupy crud ailments, had a wonderful holiday season spent with family and friends and are ready to have a great year. The Bolivar Peninsula Cultural Foundation definitely is and we would like to present you with a great event coming up and also an opportunity to participate in our latest fundraiser for the foundation.
On Thursday, February 26, 2026, we are having our annual wine tasting, presented this year at the lovely home of Diana and David Ezzell. Come join us as we sample 8 wines and paired appetizers, give away exciting door prizes and enjoy fellowship with our peninsula neighbors. The attached flyer has all of the specifics but contact Elinor Tinsley @ 713-256-3447 soon, as tickets are already selling fast and we are limited on quantities. The Ezzell’s have graciously offered up their home once again to help support a local nonprofit organization and if you’re lucky enough to come you’ll experience a fabulous sunset in a beautiful location along with an evening of learning opportunities and fun.
Also, the Bolivar Peninsula Cultural Foundation wishes to thank everyone that participated in our new fundraiser offering custom designed sterling silver lighthouse charms and chains. We are so glad that so many were able to receive this lovely gift from themselves or a loved one and just in time for Christmas.

Well just in time for Valentine’s Day, our jeweler has completed another order for us and they are available now. We have special Valentine’s packaging if you’d like to make it super easy. too. The charm and chain are $100 or the charm only is $75. The chains are 18 inches. Just like the wine tasting we accept cash, local check, Venmo, Zelle or Cash App. Please contact Elinor Tinsley @ 713-256-3447 if you would like to purchase one and quantities are limited on these also.
Stay tuned for two more events coming up in the next couple of months also.
