First Ever Boo-Fest Delivers Frights and Fun on Halloween Night

The Crystal Beach Fire Station was the place to be this Halloween night as local first responders hosted the first-ever Boo-Fest, an event filled with screams, laughter, and plenty of treats. Hosted by the area’s dedicated medics and volunteer firefighters, the celebration brought the community together for an evening of spooky fun.

Throughout the week leading up to Halloween, emergency services crews worked tirelessly transforming the fire station into a haunted maze filled with eerie rooms, creepy creatures, and ghostly surprises. Guests who dared to enter wandered through fog-filled corridors that led them into themed rooms such as the Clown RoomGraveyardButcher Shop, and the ever-popular Chainsaw Massacre.

But the scares were just the beginning. After braving the haunted house, families moved outside for a festive Trunk or Treat, where kids collected candy from vehicles decorated by local fire departments, EMS crews, and the Motley Krewe.
