The annual Galveston ARToberFEST is an open-air celebration of creativity featuring over 100 exceptional artists from across the nation, showing a diverse array of fine arts, including painting, sculpture, jewelry, photography, and more. Now in its 28th, year the festival will take place on October 18th and 19th, 2025, along Galveston’s Postoffice Street, between 21st and 23rd.
And this year, ARToberfest is proudly dedicating the festival to the memory of Crystal Beach artist Patricia (Patty) Hagstrom. Patty was a long-time ARToberFEST favorite, and her artistry and vibrant spirit left a lasting mark on the event, and her legacy will be fondly remembered and celebrated throughout the weekend.
Festival Director Sarah Piel said, “We are profoundly grateful to honor Patty’s legacy with the blessing of her family and friends. Her laughter, warmth, and artistry touched so many, and though she may be gone, her spirit will forever live on through her work and the memories she left behind. May Patty never be forgotten.”
