This weekend, get ready for a spectacular celebration of sun, sand, and sculpture! The Galveston Sandcastle Festival is a two-day celebration of creativity and community, held on East Beach at the end of Galveston Island. This event features one of the largest amateur sandcastle competitions, in collaboration with the American Institute of Architects and La Izquierda Fest. Attendees will enjoy dozens of impressive sand sculptures, live performances by local musicians, and a variety of food trucks and vendors.
