Crab lovers, mark your calendars! The Texas Crab Festival has just made a major announcement that will bring even more fun—and family time—to next year’s celebration. After carefully reviewing attendance trends, festival organizers have decided to adjust the schedule to better serve the community. Next year’s Texas Crab Festival will run from Thursday, May 7 to Saturday, May 9, wrapping up with a grand finale on Saturday night.
One of the key reasons for this change? Making sure everyone has time to celebrate Mother’s Day with their families. By ending the festival on Saturday, attendees can enjoy all the crab-filled excitement while still keeping Sunday free for special time with Mom.
In addition to the date adjustment, the festival will also implement earlier closing times. This streamlined schedule ensures plenty of time to enjoy live music, delicious seafood, arts and crafts, and all the beloved festival traditions—without stretching too late into the night. Here’s the breakdown:
- Thursday:** 4 PM – 10 PM
- Friday:** 4 PM – 10 PM
- Saturday:** 10 AM – 10 PM
Whether you’re a longtime fan or a first-time visitor, next year’s Texas Crab Festival promises to be one of the best yet. With a refreshed schedule, you’ll have even more opportunities to savor fresh crab, dance to live music, and create lasting memories.
Stay tuned for more updates, including lineup announcements and ticket information. We can’t wait to see you there—”let’s make it a shell of a good time!”
