AUGUST 2 – GOLF CART POKER RUN
Get ready for the most fun you can have on a golf cart while supporting a great cause! The 2025 Bolivar Peninsula Golf Cart Poker Run is officially open for registration. This exciting day-long event will take place on August 2, 2025, and promises to be a blast for all participants.
AUGUST 9 – HARDHEADS BOLIVAR RIG RUN
Get ready for one of the most thrilling events on the Gulf Coast! The 11th Annual Hardheads Bolivar Rig Run is setting sail, and it’s shaping up to be the most exciting catamaran race yet. Dozens of sailors, colorful sails, and high-speed action will light up the waters as competitors race around the iconic offshore rig.
OCTOBER 12 – BOLIVAR LIVE TRIATHLON
4th Annual Bolivar Live Triathlon at Fort Travis Seashore Park, inviting athletes of all levels to swim, bike, and run through one of Texas’s most picturesque coastal settings. Whether you’re competing for a personal best or cheering from the sidelines, the breathtaking views of the Gulf provide a backdrop for a morning of endurance, and celebration.
OCTOBER 25 – VAN ZANDT MEMORIAL COOKOFF
Calling all cook teams! The 6th Annual Robert Van Zandt Memorial Cookoff is coming up, and we want you to bring your best flavors to the table. This year’s event benefits the Bolivar Arena Association, supporting a great cause while celebrating delicious food and community spirit. There’s fun for the whole family, including a kid’s costume contest and a live auction with fantastic prizes.
