Summer is just around the corner so THE LAZY LADIES WATER AEROBICS group threw a party to welcome their return to the pool. Linda Chesser, with help from neighbor Amy Lail and aerobics instructor Elinor Tinsley, hosted this delightful event. Linda and Ron Chesser graciously welcomed all to their beautiful outdoor swimming pool. Tables covered with delicacies and a variety of drinks provided by all the attendees, comfortable chairs and beautiful outdoor decor made for a wonderful welcome back gathering for old and new members.
Lazy Ladies chose the name because they worked out at the former Lazy D&D RV Park. It now belongs to Camp Margaritaville Resort, and the ladies will continue their water aerobics in the original pool. Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 to10:00 Elinor Tinsley leads the women through exercises that help strengthen all muscles. Of course, recipes, latest news updates, books, movies and personal information all work their way into conversations during the ladies splashing work out. Attendees supply their own equipment, but there are always extra ones for guests or new folk.
Water aerobics is such a cool and delightful way to keep active. There is no monetary cost. However, in gratitude for use of the facilities, a donation is taken up at the final session. It is always a joy to see how much more strength you have gained by the end of the season. During this time bonds of friendship also gain strength. Members know that they are there for each other in times of need.
Come give it a try. You will soon learn that The Lazy Ladies are really THE “NOT SO LAZY” LAZY LADIES”.
