Calling all Wiener Dogs

It’s that time of year again and it will be here before you know it. The annual Texas Crab Festival Wiener Dog Races will be held at the Texas Crab Festival on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 10:30 AM We’re looking for dachshund contestants for the race and need you to register your dachshund fur babies. With no registration fees and cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

We’ve also attached a copy of the wiener dog race rules that will hopefully clear up any questions you might have. We hope to see you there!

Elinor Tinsley been a permanent Crystal Beach resident since April of 2017, after building her home with her husband, Pat Tinsley in 2011. Elinor has spent many years in service to others from Girl Scout leader to youth group leader to volunteering in many organizations, with the Bay Vue Methodist Church and the Bolivar Peninsula Cultural Foundation being the two that she commits most of her time to.
