So long, Paris! Goodbye, Milan! Hello, Crystal Beach! CB is now the epicenter of style because of THE SALTY MERMAID BOUTIQUE. Owner Shauna Williams created an island gem. Assistants DeDe Ballard, Tammie Hernandez and Andi Fuqua contribute their talents to make visitors feel welcomed and comfortable as they shop. This beach boutique contains clothing, jewelry, beach wares, and gifts. There is also fun stuff just because you might want it. Sometimes you can meet four legged cutie – in – residence, Neil George.
Salty Mermaid showcased some of its offerings with an elegant and fun style show on November 13, 2024. The Fraternal Order of Eagles (FOE) 3719 once again hosted this charity fashion show. Jim Denys welcomed all attendees. Money from the event supports Eagles’ multiple charities. Salty Mermaid presented FOE 3719 with a $600 check to use on many endeavors.
Fashion Show Coordinator Linda Chesser contacted models. DeDe showed the route and timing for models to follow. Shauna gave them the freedom to model as they wished. Oh, how they sparkled! Oh, how they shined! Kathy Coco, Mary Denys, Wendy Dozier, Linda Carole Elissalde, Sabrina Flowers, Marsha Fredenburg, Kerrie Wilson, Paige Labrier, Brenda Lewis Allie Pace, Nelda Scott, Sue Simmons, Joyce Thornbough, Cheryl Tweet, Betty Williamson, Diane Davidson, Connie Moshier, and Rozlyn Faulhaber dazzled the cheering attendees as each danced and twirled to Rafael Zapata’s DJ magic. Bob Hibbard again served as a grand announcer. Elinor Tinsley not only modeled, but used her photography skills to record this magnificent production.
What a delightful evening for all those who came. May there also be a spring show. Models, music and an enthusiastic audience proved that THE SALTY MERMAID BOUTIQUE DOES IT WITH STYLE!
