The Annual Bolivar Peninsula Golf Cart Poker Run is one of the most anticipated traditions on the peninsula. Scheduled for Saturday, August 1st, this event is widely known as “the most fun you can have in a golf cart.” But beyond the decorated carts and friendly competition, this run carries a much deeper meaning for our community.

For years, the Poker Run has been about more than just building the best hand. It is a mission-driven event where all net proceeds stay right here at home. Your participation has raised over $100,000 in just the last three years, providing vital support for:
Our Local Schools: Helping High Island and Crenshaw Elementary schools purchase classroom technology, art supplies, and essential learning tools.
Our Brave Firefighters: Assisting our first responders in Port Bolivar, Crystal Beach, and High Island with life-saving equipment and training.
