A little bird told us that is if you want to see a lot of different bird species, then come join the Bolivar Peninsula Cultural Foundation for their (almost) annual birding trip to High Island. Our next event will be on Thursday, April 23, 2026 beginning at 4:00 PM. We are going to the Clint an Mary Frances Morse Field Station next door to the Boy Scout Woods Sanctuary for a talk given by Jim Ashcraft, who’s ornithological experience includes extensive fieldwork spanning diverse ecosystems from Canada through Texas and into Mexico and Northern Central America. Jim also has over 40 years in the educational system teaching students from high to college. We know you will find his talk very interesting and informative.
