I grew up going to Crystal Beach and still go as often as I can. I am a licensed professional counselor. As part of the work I do, I work with people dealing with grief issues and work with children doing a specialized kind of counseling called play therapy. I've been trying to get in touch with the Red Cross to volunteer my services to the residents, (and weekenders) of this area, but have not been able to get in touch with anyone. I figured I's go to the source. I am available to come down to meet with anyone who would like to talk to someone about the devastating losses you have had. I can come to the area on Saturdays and Sundays or we can set up an alternative. I am not time-limiting my serivces at this time. My services are free to you.
