• Paper towels, septic-friendly toilet paper, trash bags, plastic plates/cups (if wanted), insect repellent, charcoal & lighter fluid, ice chests, beach tent, beach chairs, sunscreen and beach towels.
• AND ALL ITEMS CAN BE PURCHASED AT “THE BIG STORE” OR FAMILY DOLLAR, IF YOU WANT TO TRAVEL LIGHTLY.

• The security deposit is due within seven (7) days of requesting for a date to be held. If the security deposit is not received within seven (7) days after making the request, the reservation could be cancelled without notice.
• This deposit will also serve as the damage deposit, which will be returned approximately two (2) weeks after departure, if everything is left in the same condition as it was found ***Please call immediately upon arrival if anything is not in satisfactory condition***
• Full rental amount is due at least 14 days prior to arrival. Cancellation or failure to pay full rental amount within 14 days before check-in will forfeit your security deposit.
• Rental User Agreement (separate page) must be acknowledged in writing over e-mail, or signed and returned by mail before checking in.
• Lock box code for keys will be provided one (1) day before arrival. Please text when you have arrived.
• Rentals are for family groups only. Rates are based on sleeping capacity. Having more than the stated capacity can easily push the septic system beyond its limits, causing damage

• No smoking in the house! You may smoke outside or downstairs, but please dispose of cigarette butts properly. Do NOT leave them in the yard or planters. Deposit held for additional cleaning if cigarette butts are found
• NO grilling on upper deck. This is a fire hazard
• NO pets allowed on the premises. No exceptions! This will forfeit deposit
• Please limit number of people using showers and toilets at one time to prevent issues with the septic
• NO loud parties outside after hours. Please be respectful and reduce music/people volume outside between 11:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.
• DO NOT flush any feminine products at any time or diapers, baby wipes or wet wipes of any kind.
• Also, dispose of grease properly (NOT in the sink)

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

Please follows instructions below to clean the cabin before you leave. Cleaning supplies can be found in the walk-in pantry.

• Remove ALL food and drinks from fridge and freezer. Wipe clean any major spills
• Rinse sink to clear all food and rinse out debris
• Wipe all appliances and countertop surfaces
• Remove all personal toiletries, sponges, towels, etc. from bathrooms
• Place used linens, bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths in laundry basket in laundry room
• Bag ALL trash, including bathrooms, and place in outdoor bin by the street. MUST BE IN BAGS – no loose trash!
• Rinse inside trashcans, if necessary, from major spills
• Clean and scrape any food stuck on the grill and dump charcoal
• Spray and rinse downstairs area with water hose to clean off any food, drinks or sand
• Set AC to 78 degrees (cool in summer) or 65 degrees (heat in winter) with fan on “Auto”
• Lock ALL windows and doors
• Return key to the lock box using the same code and push down on the “clear” button
• Text one of the numbers listed under “contacts” when you have returned key and leave the premises

LIABILITY

While using beach cabin, you assume all risks associated. If any damage to the house occurs, you will be responsible for cost associated with repairing and/or replacing. Owner is not responsible for any injuries during your stay. Owner is not responsible for damage or loss of the renter’s personal property.
